Well I was always a city boy. Born and raised in Nottingham. Mostly in the most unsavoury parts of the city. The Meadows and St Anns; which later became part of the so-called NG triangle, which has become the battleground for the turf wars and gun murders.
The picture above shows the local off-licence, and the house that I was raised in was very similar to those shown, real northern back-to-back terraced houses. No bathroom and outside toilet.
